What You’ll Do & What Good Looks Like
We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team and support our recruiting, culture, and core HR processes. This person will help us attract and retain top talent, foster a strong employee experience, and ensure our people processes run smoothly. The role is ideal for someone who is organized, empathetic, and eager to make a direct impact on fostering a positive team culture and engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Hiring
- Coordinate an end-to-end recruiting process (sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, candidate communication).
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Organize employee check-ins, pulse surveys, and culture initiatives.
- Track and surface insights on engagement, retention, and team satisfaction.
- Create and support internal events and recognition programs.
HR Processes & Compliance
- Manage annual review cycles, performance feedback processes, and documentation.
- Assist with handling performance escalations, ensuring issues are documented and addressed appropriately.
- Execute Fortimize’s benefits enrollment, guide employees through benefits, and offer opportunities of improvement.
People Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related questions.
- Help onboard new employees and ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Provide administrative support for HR systems and processes.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Talent roles.
- Creative sourcing and networking capabilities.
- Ability to engage and attract both passive and active candidates and maintain great rapport.
- High energy, positive attitude, and drive to get things done.
- Thrives on continual improvement and implementation of process changes.
- Familiarity with recruiting cycles, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Comfortable working independently and managing recurring processes.
- Strong organizational skills and discretion in handling sensitive information.
