Who Thrives Here

We’re building a team that’s ready to learn fast, grow boldly, and work with purpose. The people who thrive here tend to be:

What You’ll Do & What Good Looks Like

As a Delivery Manager (“DM”), you are accountable for the successful execution of a project. You ensure the solution accomplishes the client’s overall vision and goals by enabling the delivery team to build and deliver the right solution, managing delivery, scope, schedule, cost, risks, communication, and staffing along the way. Your two primary areas of focus are developing a strong, trusted relationship with the client and providing servant leadership to the project team.

A successful DM is adaptable, organized, and can build rapport with clients, partners, and team members. They pair strong leadership with clear written and verbal communication, remove blockers and escalate issues early, and keep the team aligned on the client’s needs (the “why”), the solution being built (the “how”), and the outcomes Fortimize delivers (the “what”). Their logical, analytical approach and passion for solving complex business problems enable project teams to deliver valuable solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Job Responsibilities:

Client Relationships

  • Develop and nurture trusted advisor relationships, partner with clients to understand their challenges and expectations, monitor client morale, and meet regularly with client leadership to gather feedback.
  •  Ensure the solution stays aligned with the client’s vision and goals, and translate technical details into business language.
  • Anticipate the questions executives will ask, framing status, risks, and trade-offs in terms of value, cost, and timeline rather than task-level detail.

Team Leadership

  • Lead the project team with a servant-leadership, people-first approach: set clear expectations, define roles and responsibilities to drive accountability and set the team up to do its best work.
  • Remove blockers, give direct and timely feedback, and develop individuals through mentorship, guidance, and general care.
  • Partner with people managers and leadership to keep team members supported, and celebrate successes and milestones.

Project Management

  • Build and execute the project plan, and support clients in prioritizing scope and trade-offs so delivery stays focused on the highest-value work.
  • Maintain command of the details across project and sprint scope, open risks, dependencies, budget burn, and commitments made, to shift between an executive summary and the specifics without losing accuracy.

Change Management

  • Facilitate the change management workshop with client leadership ahead of project kickoff.
  • Guide clients through change readiness activities and track their completion through status reporting.
  • Coach the client on change strategy, escalate resistance surfaced by the team, and monitor engagement to address gaps that could impact adoption before go-live.

Scope, Schedule & Cost Management

  • Prepare and manage project scope, timeline, and budget, in partnership with the Solution Architect.

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues early, and implement strategies to minimize their impact on the project. Understand how a decision, change, or delay in one area can influence scope, schedule, budget, team capacity, and the client relationship.
  • Weigh downstream and cross-workstream impacts before committing, and surface them clearly so the client and team can make informed trade-offs.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate decisions and strategy through clear status reporting, and facilitate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Work with the project team to lead or assist with client presentations during discovery, build, and UAT.

Staffing Management

  • Identify appropriate project roles, maintain accurate forecasting throughout the project lifecycle, ensure time logged is accurate and approved, and execute on team onboarding and offboarding.

Salesforce

  • Work closely with the project team to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical requirements, and maintain the Salesforce technical fluency to meaningfully challenge and validate solution decisions.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or implementation, including client-facing project delivery
  • 2+ years working with the Salesforce platform
  • Hands-on experience leading Agile/Scrum delivery (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives)
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and risk management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, and resourcing
  • Jira/Confluence and Lucidchart (or similar diagramming application) experience required
  • Comfortable with basic Salesforce configuration
  • Business professional, conversational English

Certifications

  • Salesforce Platform Administrator
  • Agile or Project Management (e.g., CSC, PMP)

Where You’ll Work

Our global team operates in a flexible, hybrid work model. We recognize that our team members have full lives outside of work, and we design our approach to support that reality. Most work is done from home, with occasional travel to a centralized hub when needed.

By prioritizing flexibility, we aim to give back one of your most valuable resources—time—so you can invest in your career, personal commitments, and the things that matter most. At Fortimize, work is something you do, not somewhere you go.

Our Mission and Core Values

Our mission is to be wildly successful to be radically generous (#ws2brg). At Fortimize, success is shared with everyone, not just at the top, and we firmly stand on giving back where possible: to our people, to our company, to our communities.  Here, everyone has a stake in the outcome of our core values:

We are Owners: Your contributions directly impact our outcomes and help shape the future of Fortimize.

We are all about our People: You’ll be part of a team that challenges, supports, and pushes one another to be the best version of themselves.

We Give Back: We invest in, not just your growth and well-being, but also our surrounding communities by giving our time, talent, and treasures to those less fortunate.

At Fortimize, you won’t just join a company—you’ll become an integral part of a culture that thrives on diversity of thought and shared successes. Your experience, perspective, and story matter  and they shape who we are and how we grow.  At Fortimize, we don’t just work together; we win, grow, and make an impact together.
