Solutions Architect

Summary of Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will be working primarily remotely as part of a consulting team that includes a Project Manager, other Consultants, Developers and Architects. You will participate in client meetings and calls to gather and document client requirements. Working with your project team, you will summarize your findings and present them to the client, configure Salesforce and load sample and legacy data. When the project wraps up, you will deliver client training and adoption programs.

It’s a fast-paced, multi-faceted role in a rapidly growing organization. Being great with people is a must. For those with the right stuff, there is ample opportunity for rapid advancement. Successful team members are self-directed problem solvers, able to learn quickly, and are passionate about delivering transformational business outcomes for our clients.

Solutions Architects advance into Sr. Solutions Architects, and can then choose to purse project management or individual contributor roles. 

Responsibilities

  • Able to document business requirements and write and estimate relevant user stories
  • Draft a Summary of Findings including Salesforce program roadmap, business requirements, and user stories
  • Create Configuration Workbook from business requirements
  • Deliver custom configuration to support business requirements (Objects, Relationships, Process Builder, Flow, and relevant Apps)
  • Develop Reports & Dashboards requirements for client use case
  • Provide End-User and System Administrator training
  • Develop and Execute test scripts
  • Perform standard and ETL data migration tasks, able to use data loader and other tools
  • Mentor junior level consultants
  • Work both independently and collaboratively

Education and Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Located and able to work in the U.S. from a home office (preferably in the NYC area) and able to travel up to 25-50%
  • Salesforce Administrator Certified
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Certified or in process
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certified or in process
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Wave Analytics, Pardot, Drawloop, Informatica, Salesforce for Outlook, Docusign, and/or X-Author

Business Analyst

Summary of Role

As a Business Analyst, you will be working primarily remotely as part of a consulting team that includes a Project Manager, Solutions Consultant(s), Developer(s) and Architect. You will participate in client meetings and calls to gather and document client requirements. Once requirements are gathered, you will hold the primary responsibility to configure Salesforce and load data.

It’s a fast-paced, multi-faceted role in a rapidly growing organization. Being great with people is a must. Experience in real estate and financial services is a huge plus. For those with the right stuff, there is ample opportunity for rapid advancement. Successful team members are self-directed problem solvers, able to learn quickly, and are passionate about delivering transformational business outcomes for our clients.

Business Analysts advance into the Solutions Consultant role. On successful advancement from the Solutions Consultant track, one can choose to pursue a Project/Support Management path or to contribute individually as a Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

  • Able to document business requirements
  • Deliver custom configuration from a defined solution
  • Create Reports & Dashboards from a defined set of requirements
  • Execute test scripts
  • Standard data migration tasks, able to use data loader

Project Manager

Summary of Role

As Project Manager with Fortimize, you will develop and manage full project lifecycle in an Agile framework, scope, budget, timeline, resources, deliverables, issues, and escalations while continually setting client expectations then transition to support after go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for project success and customer success
  • Lead project teams in development and execution of project plans including management of scope, schedule, budget, and quality
  • Optimize plans and resources to deliver maximum value to clients
  • Develop and nurture trusted adviser relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with project team, leadership, and sales teams to bring thought leadership to the engagement
  • Assist with account planning/management and other pre-sales activities
  • Influence and coach customers throughout their Salesforce journey
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior resources
  • Make decisions that positively impact our customers

Education and Required Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus
  • 4+ years consulting experience, preferably with Salesforce.com or other CRM or cloud-based solutions
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience, 1 year of Scrum Master
  • In-depth understanding of Agile best practices
  • Knowledge of PMI processes and procedures
  • Salesforce.com certification (Administrator, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud)
  • Project Management certification (PMP or similar)

You will collaborate with an eclectic mix of seasoned consultants to advise clients and create solutions that help them achieve the results they seek. Sr. Developer

Summary of Role

Fortimize has a unique opportunity for a Sr. Salesforce Developer interested in becoming a foundational team member building exciting new solutions and creating reusable integrations in the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Force.com Platform and a winning attitude. This individual possesses both strong interpersonal skills and exceptional technical know‐how. This position is suited for a well‐rounded technical resource who is able to focus on improving business processes, can effectively apply development methodologies and tools, manage complicated projects, and understand the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project team and client to gather technical requirements and develop functional solution
  • Determine scope and corresponding effort estimates for development projects
  • Design object model and code structure
  • Develop high-quality, reusable and maintainable code
  • Create and execute unit and integration tests
  • Confirm solution meets business requirements
  • Prepare solution for deployment

Education and Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related
  • 5 + years relevant work experience; 3 + on Salesforce platform
  • Minimum of 2 Salesforce Certifications (Platform Developer II Certification preferred)
  • Solid technical and functional knowledge of Salesforce Platform, APEX, Visualforce, Declarative tools, and interfaces
  • Understanding of key Salesforce architectural concepts (e.g., API and governor limits, security models and techniques) and how they influence design
  • Web Technologies: HTML, Javascript, CSS, jquery, JSON, XML
  • Languages: APEX, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, other object-oriented languages such as Java/C#
